its actually the 0 bias pot.

this is the pot you use to set your standby current at. so say you lasers starts to lase at 20ma then you would set this right below that.

that way the diode is still on slightly (but not enough to make a lase) that way when it is getting an analog signal it will start to lase right at the bottom (0 volts) of the 5 volts signal instead of say 1/5 of the way from the bottom (1 volt).

setting this right before the lasing threshold will get you a far better range of analog power.

just like you would with the normal setting.

using a test load.

the 0bias is set when the modulation wires are getting 0 volts and then the normal current is measured when the modulation wires are getting 5 volts

My flexmod1 is dead..... :'( switched input polarity and now theres no current coming out... need to send it to a specialist to fix

I have a link to download a laser show file how would i open it on spaghetti. Also what do i do with all the pots on the op amp board. Probably going to buy sometime in January. Hopefully jan 11.Thats when i joint lpf last year
