i wanted to give the lissajous editor in LSX some love and i had a piece of music my friend jason made for me... so i turned it into a quick little abstract show.

comments and critiques always welcome.

this was mostly just an exercise in fiddling knobs in the lissajous editor and using the result as seeds for complex abstracts.

to put things a little more over the top, i enabled depth cueing on some of the abstracts so parts of them would brighten/fade as they moved across the z-axis.

i think i put about 15 hours into this. mostly watching tv and tweaking. i wish i had set the lumia rig up for the last couple of shows. it does make them a little more compelling.

here's a link to one of the abstracts i created for the show. feel free to grab it and improve on it. ;)

neat! I cant wait to play with this over the holidays. thanks for the abstract. I will use it as a starting point and hopefully sit down and actually learn how to use LSX beyond the very basics , i have been needing to do that for a while :can: .

thanks! i'm a big fan of lumia (as you know), i wish i had added it to my other shows, but it's a little late to go back and re-film them.

here's my youtube channel, there are a number of other shows and bits and bobs of things in process:

i'd really like to get out to another LEM. it's been way to long since i've been in a big group of good people making pretty light.
