got one of these on ebay for cheap, £9 i think

took the 5mw diode out and replaced it with a 130mw red. although im running the diode at 100mw so it does not over heat.

sadly though the crappy plastic mirrors and plastic lens it looses 30mw, so im only getting 60mw out. ok still a big improvement, just not what i was hoping for.

Scopeguy sent me one of those about a year ago.  I replaced the laser and set it to 55 mW because I want the cells to last a while.  
I bet it's even better at 130 mW :)  Those are fun little units. By the way, I set mine for 55 mW output with the motors off so I could check power.

mine was also set with the motors off.

i set it to 100mw but loose loads

Does the crab have more designs? I don't like the looks of that housing though. Wierd looking thing.

I still think the crab is a simple spyro like the pocket model. What other features does it have? Servos? Gratings?
