Ideal analog modulation specs?

I have a flexmod p3 with analog modulation...i want the red and green modules i want to buy soon also have desame specs...
How do i ask a company that and what are the differences?

what are you asking? for a red and green laser to have same specs as the flex mod? just buy the red loc's and the green module from elektrofreaks tutorial and you will be fine.

Im asking what to ask companys to know if their analog modulation is any good...or even better desame as the flexmod p3.
Ive heard there can be differences in this modulation...and i ofcource want all my 3 lasers to modulate desame way.

i don't think you should concern yourself with that. i don't think it really makes a difference in quality unless you are a professional.

ok so if one is analogue modulated through a flexmod and the other by a cheap chinese driver it doesnt matter? :)

thats what i assume. because it is the software sending the signal. so in my set up i am using flexmods on my LOC's and my 445. but am sticking with the driver that came in my green module. i think it is pretty standard stuff on the low end. but elektrofreak knows better. i've never read anywhere that the driver on the green module should be replaced.

it comes with the green module. i bought that one he recommends but i bougt a lower powered green. the module comes with laser diode cooling and an anolog driver.

There's no point asking to have you green capable of 300kHz, because: It's not possible. Even if it was, the linearity would be more terrible than it is at current speeds. You're only scanning a max of 30,000pps and many of the points in a row are the same intensity, so 10kHz is enough. And they all meet that.

can this 10kHz do fade in/outs? or is it more like "click 1v up click 1v down".no smooth modulation. sorry dont know how to tell better:p

The lasers itself are the bottlenecks, especially DPSS modules. A low quality laser may not be completely linear in current in/power out, it might be jumpy. The 200mW green had horrible analog output if I remember correctly.

and what you do you think about the quality of the laser i was planning to buy?
