Galvo gibberish

That was already covered in post #13. There is no blanking used in the system at this time based on that test frame, otherwise it looks fine.

im near positive there is no modulation used here, i think it is an on/off 445.

You speak of galvo speed, I speak of modulation ... I don't see what's there in post #13 to solve my question here.

I am sure that he does not have his modulation sorted out , even if hardware part is OK, perhaps in software he messed something up.

What software is that, again?

what im trying to say i s i dont think there is any connection between the driver and the software, as i believe his setup is free of mod.

Now I don't know for sure if the laser used to create that test frame even has blanking capability. It might be CW-only, being used to set things up.

Ah, you are correct, 'pologies for my ehh, how do you say when you are in a hurry and often make mistakes (as in : type of personality)?

Other than the fact there is no modulation I see no other problems except the output shown right after the very first one, it kind of remind me of reflection from a plastic which is melting under a laser , just that this pattern is drawn out , no idea why though. Is that what you were aiming at, Kiyoukan, or was that supposed to be a sine wave shown on your monitor?

Glancing at the picture, i'd say the galvo's are working, but the blanking is malfunctional or way off.

Try adjusting it with a grid test pattern instead of the ilda frame first. Getting the circle-in-the-box should be one of the final goals, which syncs computer timing with the inertia of the galvo mirrors and the response to that.

There is no need to get that absolutely right to display most ilda frames - many things will look very good even if your scanners are somewhat slow or fast compared to the computer driving speed.

Fix the blanking first, so you have an idea what you are actually doing, and worry about the details after that
