I ordered a 803t bluray diode in the GB section and want to use it with my scanners, but I need a dichro that will work with it.... will one that reflects blue and transmits green work?

you will need to check the spec of the dichro

every dichro has a spec of what it will pass and reflect

Done.. sent him an email.... the specs on the site are a little pointless in this case as they don't say what wavelengths of blue it reflects :p

i will speak with bridge later tonight to see if he offers a 405nm dichro and if not if he would be willing to work on making one.

Foko are you seure about that? i would like to see the specs. that would be awesome but im having trouble believing it. and if that IS the case, then laserwave needs to make that clear on the website.

Well, 405nm is not a normal laser show colour because it is so dull...

But according to thesk8nmidget the dichros for blue from laser-wave will work fine, just won't be as reflective, so you'll lose some power.

I'm actually in the market for a 405nm dichro though, I'm going to try and mod my 130mW RGY projector I'm buying in to a 300mW RGV projector :D So if you find anything, do share!

as said above yes the laser wave dichros do work with 405nm but you they will be less efficient.

You know how on the sites it shows the percentage of the transmit/reflect for the respective wavelengths the dichro is intended for?

Like on here: http://www.stanwax.plus.com/lw/dichro.html

What are the new stats if the 473nm is replaced by a 405nm? That's the big question.

im sure if you guys are interested and we can get enough people i can get laser wave to make us some 405nm dichros.

we would need most likely 30 people interested though

I am using the Dichro's from mr Bridge (laser wave)
They work fine with 405nm

Exelent product.

Forget using 405nm with beamshows.... way to dull.!!!
Grafix work fine.
