Wow, Im happy to read this but also not surprised. That is just awesome!

I will just say this without ranting 5+ paragraphs on what I'd like to express, I have only a few 'platinum' goals amongst the others in my life I hope to achieve before its all over. One of those is producing something much like what you do. I dont know your background, history or what planet spawned you but what you bring to the art of laser shows in my opinion is so unique and influencing. I hope to someday achieve what you have.

A most sincere congratulations! :worthy:

I've already done it before but let me take this oppotunity also to heap lavish amounts of praise upon you.

I probably account for quite a few of some of your videos views. these three are great, I've watched the one for "we are shangri-la" a lot too

could you quantify for us, how many hours on average you put into a single show?

thank you shake!

very very roughly, it's about 10 hours of my time for 1 minute of show content.

Wow, so those three winning shows are like 100 man-hours or more combined? Do you sell them for prices appropriate for the amount of work or is it mostly a hobby? Either way, tons of respect!

the geronimo hoop dance show kind of blows that estimate.

i did many many hours of work on the video sequencing/editing and cleaning up thousands of frames by hand before running them through lasercam.

the footage was shot outside, in the desert (white sands, new mexico) at dusk so the lighting and contrast was poor.

also not mentioning the time it took to acquire the rights for the footage (it was shot for a music video).

nakotah larance (the dancer) is a world champion hoop dancer and native american actor. when i approached him with the laser show idea, he had just come off of tour with cirque du soleil (totem).

the actual show programming went pretty fast (about a week) once i had the laser video sequences ready to drop onto the timeline. maybe 100 hours total for this show.

So you did. didn't notice the "Christopher Short" at the end. Awesome. Seems you have close ties to natives. If I could have been born another race I'd be a native. If I had been around back in the day, Id have run away to live with the "indians"

at least they understood that everything does not belong to us, we belong to everything

but I digress. thanks again. keep wowing us
