Bought some ScanPro's!!! (Renamed question thread)

Hey guys,
I am most likely grab some scanpro 20's and replace the steppers in my RGY with them. There is a few questions I have about them.

1. Do they come with a DMX/ILDA control board?
2. Are they good for any kind of text/images?
3. What is the usual shipping time?

does the descripion say they come with a dmx board???

yes 20k can do text and images

DMX is a free option, just type in the comment box that you would like one. Good for beam shows and basic graphics, check out this vid http://youtube.com/watch?v=WdRyLxndETM cool display of what they can do.... shipping time... depends on what you choose. 10 days is the norm. Mine are coming via UPS and its taking nearly 2 weeks, but i am in africa so is actually dam fast! ;D 3rd world sucks big hairy balls

TEXT == YES
ANIMATIONS == YES
BEAMSHOWS == YES
COMPLEX ANIMATIONS == SKETCHY
SHIPPING == 7-14 days when shipped to the US using basic shipping method.
TRACKING == YES (UPS)
CUSTOMS == Mine was held for a day by customs in china but made it here fine (its a tightly packed box of electronics)
PACKING == AWESOME

Ahh thanks guys! I found out that the DMX board is free to photonlexicon members too. I JUST PLACED MY ORDER W00000000000000000000000000000000000000T!!!!

Hahaha Mike, I'll still be using the same software and DMX for now, I dont have the money for a DAC right now. I just needed a change from steppers....

P.S, i will be doing alot of video's of these things, I intend to even do a video of me opening them! These guys have excellent customer service, I bought them today (Monday), and they said I should have them by the end of the week! Anyone wanting to buy galvo's, these are your guys!

JS_DMX for the software, and a DMX USB Pro from www.enttec.com

I use the DMX controller for my DMX lighting aswell.

Hah, i hope mine dont get snagged by customs. I guess aslong as they dont put the word "laser" on the package it should be right. They are a Australian based company, so they'd know all about the laws. I'm amazed that they said I should have them in 4 days from my order. Thats damn fast. Well, I guess, with the shipping price $61AU it should be fast LOL

I bought a 300x300mm alum 6mm plate, used DT40 scanner size specs almost the same, except the driver boards.. They will be here tomorrow!!!! ;D the drill is ready, the alum is ready..... now all i need is my scanner set!
