So for anyone interested I have a link to a public pricelist from the company I get my parts from... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1493830/Copy of 2011 laser price list(USD).xls

Just remember that there will be a very large shipping charge.

¡ËGuangzhou Golden star Stage Lighting CO.,LTD¡Ë

You should definitely check out their prices on RGB scanners with ILDA for <$250 and the 20kpps ILDA scanners kits for $50.

Make sure and tell them that BROOKS sent you ;) ....and use this contact goldenstarwinni wenxiaoni716@163.com

Hope yall get some killer deals :p

so you realize if you combine a pair of those 2.5W reds you are going to have an 8mm x 8mm beam...

which is going to be hitting DT40's with presumably 3.5mm mirrors???

I have the BIG mirrors on these, and I was planning on folding the beams over..... But I have been talking to edison recently and I think Im going to get one of his custom 638+660 2W Modules(3.5x3.5) instead of the Fat CNI reds....

you wont be able to fold them AND combine 2 of them...

either fold one or combine 2

folding one would give you a 4mm x 4mm beam @ 2.5W (minus losses)

what size are the mirrors? and what speed are you getting out of them?

Dont know how I overlooked that one..... :tinfoil: totally makes sense when you think about it :(

O well....642 is a nice color also ;) .......

The mirrors are "5mm beam" mirrors on DT40s...not sure of the speed.

ya... red is a bitch, I have been looking for the grail, still have not found it :(

those new 637 diodes may be promising if some gifted people put their minds to it, so lets see :)

as far as the mirrors, interesting, nice that they are bigger but still not as big as I would like... I have the 6.5mm beam mirrors on my Eyemagic's and I still get some spill from my 650 CNI flashlights lol

Would you happen to have a link to these "638+660 2W Modules" from Edison? I am very curious since red is the only color that is lacking in my RRGB projector. I have 1 watt of blue, 1.6 watts of green (turned down 50% so it is less than a watt) and only 600 mW of red from two LPC-826 red diodes.

I dont think there are any links. He hasnt finished working on the mechanical components for the 8 Diode combiner for my reds yet. So they technically dont exist yet.

His builds are way nicer than any KVANT module you could buy, but they are costing me $x,000 each for 700mw 638+1.2W 660 combo module.

Looking good my friend! Please post some close-up photos of the red 638/660nm combo modules when you get them in. Would love to see your setup...
