WTB: Best Laser for $100

Hello everyone, Im looking for a laser that burns through paper and pops balloons and such, and also goes as far as possible. Anyone know the best laser at $100?

You have not gotten off to a very good start here-- you made two indentical threads and both are in the wrong section-
you also did not make an intro thread about yourself in our welcome section.
i suggest you delete both threads and AFTER you finish filling out your personal profile THEN go to the BS&t and place your WTB.

you may not get many replies until you do those things. thats just how we do things here..

that would be one sold to you by a trusted vet in need of quick cash- If Dave(daguin) has any to part with you can be sure that it works properly and is priced fairly.

For burning either 445 or 405

OR buy one of Moh new kits coming soon ~#50 and a 28 $ diode , like the A-130s 445s I am about sold out on and build your own- all you need to know is ESD precautions and how to solder properly- you will need to press your diode- not entirely easy the first time- many will suggest that you practice on a worthless diode like those IRs that we routinely throw away when doing a sled harvest

..so add the cost of a charger and your Li-ions (I sell those too btw) you should be still around $100... but before all that you REALLY need, at the very least, cheap eye protection. Then when you can afford them, get better goggles/glasses & you can use your old ones for your friends--- you do care about your friends and your eyesight ===correct?? Burning a hole in your retina is not as cool as popping a match or burning a balloon.

btw many that have been a member of this forum for a long time kinda look upon such things like that as somewhat immature-- no offence meant - but for sure choose carefully who you show such activities as you just may get a reaction that you were not expecting.

if you follow the rules and things hak suggested, then people will take you seriously, until then everyone will assume you are just an immature kid (no offense but without personal info people will assume its a child and thats only from past experiences on this site) i dont believe you are a child so follow the suggestions and you will find your laser

I can sell him a barely spec 532/100 mW JETLASERS TI-B for around that.

his smartest move will to buy a well built laser here from a vet. there are many and they value their rep here too much to give somebody a bad deal..
