There's no direct correspondence. Linearity and resolution would be more relevant. At that incredible price, I wonder what one can expect...

A few years ago, I bought in-ear headphones - supposedly the real Sony Ericsson stuff - for my mobile for about $17 in current value on ebay; they had quite good sound but the cable broke after one or two years. Just a few weeks ago, I bought a set of in-ear headphones from DX for about $3.50, thinking not too much can go wrong with such a simple item. Big mistake - sound quality was so utterly bad that I dumped them after 5 minutes.

So I'm really hesitant on what you can expect here...

I'm a little late, but I see the price changed (was error before) to $25. So, if you guys get your thermometers, awesome deal :), but you probably won't :(

hope you guys get them, I have found those kinds of slip ups from amazon....never got it at the "low price". one was a Dewalt hammer drill for $19.99. Got an email later that day that my order was canceled and would I like to buy it for $199.99. Being that I already had 3 HDs....I replied nope.

Got my fingers crossed for you guys!

I ordered it too 4 days ago, today I got a refund from FP. Tough luck. As they say, if it sounds too good to be true...
