Wow

I must say awesome build with readily available items.
I have been looking for such a build with this host!! Thanks for the INFO.

Do you think this heatsink method would work for open can at 400ma?

Thanks

I just wanted to say i owe you! i've been looking to convert this same host for a while and with your help i spent a couple "more" hours in lowes and came up with a all copper no solder heatsink.

Everything is pressed fitted. I still need my driver to finish and plan to make this kit available on ebay, more pics will be available soon.

Re: changin the game

I, too looked at lowes & HD but came up short on the part that the 12 mm module slips into- i will find it but you could save me a little time. I have a few extra 2 packs of the Husky hosts ( red and black only) mayhaps we can trade somehow ?? PM me and let me know-hakzaw1

Re: Home Depot sale on cheap Husky hosts

Normally you have to have those made or buy one from a member here. Try posting in the buy/sell/trade section. Most likely someone there will have you covered..

Re: changin the game

Thanks Bob- had all except the smallest piece of copper- I plan to halve the thick walled piece to get 2 uses from it. Also --dont I have to shorten the pipe cap to allow the host to go back together fully? Have you made one of these with a longer 50mW 532nm module? Guess it would have to protrude out the front some??===(;-]----hak
