This is an excellent way to get introduced to laser projectors. It even contains some pretty good parts for basing an upgrade upon (case, RGB unit, etc.)

Two questions: can you load your own vector/logo/animations easily?
Do you think is reasonably easy to upgrade the lasers?

if you want to swap out the modules it may not be *easy* but can be done if the parts you will be replacing will fit- and you know what you are doing.
To add animations/logos you need a software like Pangolin QS FB3=it costs about the same as two reke 500s- there is no SDcard reader in it that would make this fairly easy- cheap Soft is hard to work with and those really serious always abandon I-Show etc in favor of QS or LX.

Update- Brain tells me his REKE arrived in great shape- good alignment and no other issues.

He shared his find with the forum- and we need to say thanks for that- If you re wanting a good deal on a REKE 500 RGB then get with cherrylee here at LPF and let her know.

All she can do is apply for a promo code & if the PJ is already on sale you may be able to get on like Brian got.
