idk if i would feel comfortable buying from ebay first of all, they may not even be blu-ray. second of all because if they arent working it could be because the diodes are dead

Well at that price someone would probably risk buying it, i would probably never buy diodes off ebay. I rather find someone on the forums to buy one from.

yea but personally, since I'm always low on cash, i rarely like to take that chance, and are they going to stop selling sleds too as part of their laser ban? i also just really dislike ebay anyway.

Liberty, those are PHR-803T diodes... There aren't really many PS3 diodes left from what I can see. Here's a thread that I started a few weeks ago.. http://www.laserpointerforums.com/forums/YaBB.pl?num=1224060239/0#0

no. otherwise they'd also have to ban dvd players, cd players, laser printers, laser mice, laser gun sights, laser levels, supermarket checkout scanners, other barcode readers, and thousands of other products that involve lasers.

What's illegal some places is laser pointers, specifically a handheld pointing device. Other products which use lasers, as well as the parts of those products, are unaffected by laser bans.

ah ok, has anyone ever tried to make a pointer out a barcode reader? is it even possible?
