Did everyone miss the "INVENTORY CLEAR-OUT! UP TO 70% OFF ALL LASERS! While quantities last." banner on their main shop page?

Works for me though, probably will grab up some of the X-Series. Maybe one low-power for general use, and a high power for everything else. ;)

EDIT: Just ordered a 50mW and a 15mW to play with while the 400mW I've ordered through Glenn makes its way though the bureaucracy... :p

 This makes me wish I would have waited to get a CNI pen...I guess over a year of use is worth the extra $100 though.
I could get an Endeavor 175 for what I payed for my X100.
I hope this lasts a while.

Yes, I'm sure the Casio projectors provided some motivation for dropping prices, but I don't think the 445 diodes are replacing green DPSS. 532nm still has a place of it's own in the hobbyist scene.
NOVA doesn't even sell 445nm lasers (yet).
Also, which 3 companies are you referring to?
I only know of NOVA and Wicked, both of which fall under the CNI umbrella.

445nm is boring anyway. I'm really tired of discussing it. :undecided:

You also have to include us in that group as well. Not too many blue diodes were in circulation, and the prices were ridicules for anything blue. Those diodes really did hurt the laser retail market.

Sorry, 4 retailers..WL, Nova,

Rayfoss

and Laserglow has slashed prices on a lot of their lasers.

I don't think that it is pressure from the 445nm diodes/lasers causing this.

I do not know what it is yet, but my Spider Senses are buzzing.

Maybe bigger and better things are on the horizon. Or do you think there will be a world wide ban?

I'm not sure.

We KNOW that green diodes are coming . . . . .

However, if the US follows the UK and OZ . . . . .

Or if the US simply decides to enforce the law effectively ;) . . . . .
