I should expect the price of these during a sales week at Newegg will get even lower than this. Pretty sweet for those who are still waiting for the price of the 12X diodes to come down in price before they build one.

The number we are concerned with is the BD-R speed, which is 12X. The BD-RE speed of only 2X is normal.

Yeah, I can't wait until the top-end BR burner is the same price as the top-end DVD drive. Hopefully that happens when these are 24X burners or something though.

Rayfoss is selling the sleds from these drives for $65. If they turn out to be what they say they are it would save some big bucks. Unless anybody is looking for a deal on a 12X DVD burner for it's intended use.
