Just letting everyone know that I posted a lot of auctions on ebid. You can buy them using google check out, as well a other means. Just search Laser diode on http://us.ebid.net/ I will be listing many more items on this site as well.

If you searched ebay lately you will find it has very few "deals" on laser stuff. This is because starting February 2010, paypal started massive limitations of accounts. Most of the gadget sellers were hit so they could not sell. 21 day holds or a 60 day 20-70% rolling reserve. The most unfortunate people affected got their accounts frozen with thousands of dollars stuck in there!

The good thing about ebid is that it is cheap to list, only a buck for a high quality gallery pick listing, and NO final value fees. It is a bit slower than ebay, but then again it allows you to accept other methods of payment- you don't have to endure the problems like 21 day holds and random paypal account freezes, or seller rivalry by having several new members renege paypal and neg at once to freeze your paypal account.

Also SELLING AT SEVEN MILE FAIR! Flea Market - 7 Mile Fair Wisconsin - Seven Mile Wisconsin State Meet me this weekend, and every weekend during July and August at 7 mile fair. All prices are negotiable, especially if you want to buy in bulk. I will not accept pay-pal period, they SCREWED ME. If you want this stuff have a friend come and buy it if you cannot make it. Also, by your demand and to offer this stuff to others who cannot make it, i'm selling on ebid using Google check out.

I would stay away from Heruur. He has scammed past members both on this forum, and on photonlexicon.

I didn't scam you, you blew up a red laser-diode by hooking it up to a wall-wort transformer.

ANYWAY, This is a live sale this isn't an online sale. What you see is what you get. You have to physically come buy it and pick it up.

ehh, glass houses or something?

Anyway, would you consider a money order? I really want either the 645nm c-mount or the 635 9mm. I would only be interested in the 645 if it is actually 645nm though :undecided:

Wall warts are wonky- most always higher or lower than what is printed on them- not regulated- unless made for lasers- avoid them

My experiences w/ heruur have all been great. Evidence shows he was the one who got scammed in many cases.

cant we just all get along plz--no need to reply to this post

peace and regards---Len

I know how to use a DMM. You're only looking at half the picture. You might have had great experiences but some have not. One bad case is enough to call someone a scammer.

A DMM is not really sufficient to test a power supply for stability. They don't refresh very fast. You are literally only looking at half the picture with a DMM, which is why there are scopes.

One bad case? Dude, you are treading on thin ice. Your on what, the second time now?

And heruur is on his like 10th? If anything, the driver would have prevented any trouble. And plus I never sent the current as high as the "max" he recommended
Just to let you know: The "808" diodes are NOT 808nM. The "1W" red diodes are red, but they are NOT 1W. not even close. The "2W" ones don't even reach 700mW without blowing up.

Enough fighting. All these things are as they are described, and i will happily demonstrate them for you if you have doubts.

If people cannot come physically and want things shipped instead, one solution is you can get somebody to do a group-buy and come pick the items up and ship them to you.

I am not going to do mail-order 'by moneyorder, check or cash" sales at this time because of the risk of people saying that they sent the check and i never got the item when in fact they never did send any money.
