It seems to be very expensive, nobody will buy if they are the same products than DX but from an unknown site and (at least) <40% higher prices.

Well, I might buy one and do a review on one of the high powered lasers. They're a pretty good deal if they're up to spec.

Well, this for example, if it is good quality: 300mW Green Laser Pointer PB-0018 (authentic)

as well as all their 200mW's are a fine deal, especially w/ 10% off as well as a variety of nice hosts.

It`s ok if you trust in their customer support, I would go for Rayfoss but you can try with lightake and let us know.

Is that model IR filtered?

I would avoid that like the plague.

These Chinese sellers all get these lasers from the same place. They are all exactly the same.

The only difference is customer support, I would check into this site before you drop that much cash there.

Well, I'm trying to talk to their company about doing a "review" for them. If the review goes well, maybe people will trust them here on the forums and they'll sell as a trusted chinese company

Lol, good luck with that. They know their product is crap and would like to keep it in the dark. They will play stupid and dodge your question or proposal, usually by pretending to not read English well.

The only company like this I would actually support is DinoDirect. They sent out some free lasers to test, and they weren't up to spec but that was expected. Some of them broke but were promptly replaced (they replaced free lasers!)

I ordered some batteries from them even though it was a little bit extra cash, but they got here fast and work great so far. If they break at least I know I have a better chance of getting them replaced.

Just my $0.02-getting-to-close-to-bedtime nonsensical rant!

Well I've done this before, and he is trying to get in contact w/ me.. he's been emailing and messaging me, but he's always on at 4:00am my time. :/ Maybe I'll just be on that late some time.

Product selection is similar to DX, including many of the exact same brands (and even specific products) that we are ALREADY familiar with. So claiming all their stuff is "crap" is incorrect and unfair.

The complaint that all their prices are too high is also without merit. Different companies are not going to have the same prices on everything. Some of their prices may be higher than DX, but some of their stuff is priced considerably LOWER than DX as well!

If someone had a specific bad experience with these guys, I'm all ears. But if a vendor comes here and is nice enough to offer LPF members a discount, I would think that bombarding their discount coupon thread with non-specific complaints and "chasing them off" might not be the best course of action? :thinking:

Given that DX has started to get "pricey" on a lot of things lately, and with China untying the national currency and the labor disputes in the coastal regions causing traditional low Chinese prices to become unstable, having a good alternative to DX, and one that is also willing to give us discounts, might be worth having?

I ordered some stuff from these guys already, and will likely order some more before the current discount ends.

My experience so far has been a good one. Web site ordering & discount worked smoothly. Has order status tracking like DX, but much more detailed, including specific timestamps for each status change.

I was at first a bit put-off by the listed 3-7 day processing time for in-stock items. But I was pleasantly surprised by the actual processing time - orders were processed, packaged & shipped-out in just 2 days after order placed!

So rather than doing like DX, and claiming in-stock 2-4 days on their web site, then often taking forever to...waiting for supplier, order received, packaging, processing, processing - awaiting stock, processing - contact us for updates, and hopefully,eventually actually SHIP, this company is instead giving a conservative time estimate on their web site - and then shipping-out FASTER than promised!
