Would have been a very nice deal, but the $17 extra shipping costs ruin it a bit for non-use buyers :(

The prisms in these are coated for 808
but that doesnt mean you cant use them for a 445nm..

You see about 30% loss, BUT the output is phenomenal when
used with 445...
You wouldn't by chance know how the loss is with 980nm, or any IR other then 808nm for that matter?

If i could help any international members that want to purchase one i would. But i dont know how much money you would save if i had it ship to me first then to you.:(

Would it even be worth it for International members. If you think it will be please PM.

I would not mind helping anyone out that is a Respected member.

I havent tried it with 980, but I would hazard to guess that the loss
may be less. Im not sure how it works but assuming that 980nm is
much closer to 808 than 445nm, you would get a better transmission
of light..

I know if you contact the seller and ask for the head only and not the P/S
it cuts down the shipping cost.. Because I was gutting mine, I ordered
around 20 units with no P/S and it saved a lot..

When I have sold these post 'retrofit' the shipping was high because of the weight.
These are pretty hefty as far as labby's go. These arent like the DX or aixiz 532nm
heads, they are quite big. I shipped one to the UK and it was 3x the price which
I usually pay...

Mine Came in today. The Empty one.:D

Its alot smaller then what i anticipated it to be. But still very Nice.

Believe it or now but it was sent in a small priority mail Box.!!! And fit in the just fine and had Some Room.

Does anyone know the max weight limit for a small priority mail box is.? Or the Max Weight before it has to go into a medium size box.?

Because iam almost certain i can fit the PSU in there too.

Here are some Pictures.

Im surprised he didnt at least wipe the dust off it...

I would have thought from the pic in the ebay ad and condition
being said as 'refurbished', hed at least make sure it looked like it.

It may look small, but theres a ton of room to work with as far as
labby's go :san:

Tell me about it. It dint even come wrapped up.LOL. Just in the box.

I woulds not call refurbished.

It is what you said it is . He took the guts out and sold everything separate.

You can see some scratches on the unit.

I would call this Used.

Its OK I still Like it.:) After all its not going to stay looking like this for long.

Iam sure the other one i order ill come in better condition.

Do you think that i can fit everything in a small flat rate box WB>? Even if its very tight fit.!!

I cant say for sure as I use my own boxes.. But as long as there
is some padding on the top and bottom and an empty aluminum housing
I wouldnt be too concerned.

I bought an old original nintendo and ot was squeezed into the box so
tight that the top and bottom took the shape of the console lol.

It did however arrive busted up, but that was plastic...

Got mine a few days ago, just now got to run home to grab it.
Packaging-Fantastic, a big box full of peanuts, with a smaller box inside- bubbled wrapped.
To my surprize it works pretty good. Not to bad for 45 bucks shipped.
Gunna LPM later today once I get a chance.
Here some pictures to satisfy the masses.

Thanks

I think mine is under powered..
I LMP'd it just now and it peaked at 6mw and just stayed there.
I think its suppost to only be 10mw so not to bad.
Might wanna hurry, Not many left last I checked
