Host Flashlight maybe?

I came across this on DX. It looks really small. I am wondering if maybe we could mod this into a laser.

Any flashlight can be modded into a laser. It depends on how much you want to pay for the host and how much work you want to put into it. It also depends on if one can even access the circuitry, but if not, you can always remove all the guts and find another driver. Of course the one you linked to is using a boost circuit.

I looked it over once before and concluded the Aixiz 8mm modules I have would probably work. The biggest problem I see is heat dissipation would not be good, and the guts might be very difficult if not impossible to remove. I would be more worried about the latter. It would be a very neat host if one can get at the guts of it, although it is a bit pricey.

Yeah I just like the looks of it. It is a bit pricey, then again so is a Dorcy.
