This is genius! I am going to have to try to find some of these.

*If you grind that nub down on the set screw you could use them with the screw driver slot up!

Hey I have some of these from the HD just for build heatsinking drivers with. I didn't realize they fit the aixiz. Thanks for the info man! Dang I still can't +rep you yet man!

Make sure they are the same size though as they do make smaller ones in this style.

Wow, certainly nicer and cheaper than the worthless Aixiz mounts. I'm also glad that it's a tight fit, otherwise I was just going to stick with the 12mm CNC rail-mounts (get 'em on ebay instead).

I'll +rep you for the others. I hate the feeling of not being able to +rep someone because I have to "spread it around". Sometimes there just aren't any people worthy of having it spread around to.

Oh i can tell you that these for sure are a tight fit. Once the module is in its not coming back out. Much better then the Axiz Ones.

Even if you remove just the Nickle plating on the Aixiz Module it will still be a very Tight Fit but will go in a little easier.

You Really Have to give it a Crank.

But as you said its better that its like that.

I just thought I'd say, I stopped by Home Depot and got a few sets. Thanks again. Would be nice if they stocked the same thing in copper, but maybe next time.

Places that contractors go to, such as electrical supply houses, carry them in copper.

Home improvement stores don't really carry the bigger stuff in CU. Homeowners are cheap.

I've only found variations of this in copper. Haven't searched any electrical supply houses tho.

I am pretty disappointed. I went and piked up several packs of these today and they don't even fit some machined down Aixiz modules I have sitting here.:cryyy:

These seem to have a lip the ones in the OP do not.

Definitly the right part number.

Even on the unit it's self.

I first tried a regular Aixiz module and then even tried one that had been machined down for one of those MXDL pens.

Hmmm. Thats Weired.

I know there is 2 different Kind they sell One like i have in the OP and the other one that is <10mm. as the Hole.:thinking:

Ill go to the store tomorrow for you and Pick some more up and send them to you and you can compare the 2 together.

Can you Measure the Hole for me.?
