Found this while looking for, i dunno :p after seeing High Octane's new purchase.
ebay links are very long
Looks odd, but there seems to be a hole on the front panel, maybe for lasering into?
Anyway thought it was worth a look.

It looks broken. That's probably where the probe connector had been before it was broken and/or removed.

I don't think that's an all in one - just a power METER. To actually measure power, you'll need the corresponding power SENSOR too.

Has anyone actually disproved this as being of any value? Even for estimating a laser's power?

What's the purpose of digging up a 2 year old DEAD Thread....:thinking::thinking:

That's like answering a person's question after that person has been

WOW why do you ppl have to be so condecending to every person that doesnt do thinkgs exactly like you? WTH is wrong with my post k so its 2 yrs old, i was browsing the posts for info and came across this and it sparked my curiosity...
this is getting old these boards are filled with ppl that think they are too good for anyone elses noobish questions i forgot you guys were born with this knowledge and have never had to ask anyone else a question sheesh

Digging up ancient threads with no pertinent information is frowned upon in any forum.

It's already been said in this thread that the method is not accurate, there are many reasons for this including die size of the led, the reflector assembly inside the led, positioning of the laser, etc.

Look man im not trying to start crap with anyone and i have no problems adapting but i dont get why everyone gets off on pointing out other ppls mistakes. Isnt the point of a forum like this to learn and spread knowledge? Ive just notice alot of new ppl on here being scoffed at for making small mistakes and being ridiculed for it.
