I want to give an update on this defective laser.

The driver is completely dead. I hooked it on a testload and it gives zero Amp. I removed the driver and it looked okay to me. Nothing was burned or so. It must be a defective ic I think.

The diode was still working and the crystals are fine. It has some green output. The power is low. I think the IR diode has become a zombie.

The host is in good but used condition. No dents or evidents of dropping.
Switch and keylock is still working.

It is useful for a high-power blue laser .

What are you going to do with the broken module? I have some high power IRs, I would love to try fixing it!

I don't know it yet. I need to replace the driver too. It is a case positive high-power driver.

I imagine that when the driver failed it probably damaged the diode making it a zombie like you said.

Mine arrived too.

7 days from China, free of charge?? makes a mockery of these 20 day+ other Chinese shippers.

Everything works except the diode is zombie.

They had removed the crystal as well. Still, nice host for $25 delivered.
