CREE host for cheap?

For those who have bought form LaserQuickShip / ItemQuick Ship, they just posed a $9 flashlight host that looks like it might make a good host, including adjustable focus setup. I have not seen one in person to know how well they would work for sure, but have seen other talking about CREE-type hosts, and $9 seems like a good price.

Does anyone have an idea whether this would work for a project?

yeah it works....jayrob sells it and i made a similar laser, which has a different body but the same head.

damn.....watching this video makes me realize how much i loved this host....
i'm not too find of the body style of the one in the ebay listing.
and the one in this video was an 18650 host

Lol, I have always hated the look of that host.
