So any thing I need to think about Daquin. Or info you care to share as you have been down this road. Power supply 220? Cooling fan worth shipping costs. etc.. I know i will need a controller. Seems a wise man posted a link for those as well. Lets see who was that ..

Take care

In these units, the PSU and fan are both 220V only. They are OEM and high quality, but if you don't have 220V available, they are a waste, (unless you are going to sell them on eBay). You can pick up a 110 PSU for the laser very easily on eBay.

So if my research is correct this one will work. JDS Uniphase 2110U-SLS

May have to reconsider getting the power supply shipped. Doesn't sound cost effective.

Thanks again. You sir are both a gentleman and a scholar..

I have two of these. You can splice a line cord to plug into a dryer or stove outlet in a residential home. Otherwise, yeah try to find a 120v version.

Thanks Mario

I think I will look at the 120 volt version. Although I see on Sams you can convert some to 120. I dont know if this one is one of them and the exact procedure alludes me.

Decisions decisions.

A last question can this power supply work with the 2214 ML laser? JDS Uniphase 2110U-SLS.

It is posted on Flea bay but Sam's and the JDS site both implies it will work. I really don't want to buy it if it won't work obviously.

So any confirmations out there?

Edit: Question moved to Gas lasers where it should have been posted.
