Just finished reading a thread by dr Lava over on the 'other' froum.
all I can say is"WOW" and I want it!!!

If you have not seen or heard much lately from DrLava here is why- he just finished iirc Grad school at Case in Ohio ( NOT an EZschool btw) and at the same time making the hottest Laser Show Software yet.

While many of you may be saying that you have no interest in doing shows- you may be wrong.

I like to think of pointers as BB guns and handhelds (wether DIY or not) as air/pellet rifles--while Laser Shows are more like high powered handguns and rifles..OK thats a poor analogy (except for the similarities in safe use) But you get the idea-- the uses for show projectors is really a whole new ballgame. One thing needed to go pro is your laser software- and there are very many good ones to choose from and they are not cheap. BUT Not much can be done w/o the proper software.

However, Andrew has something that really looks cool an for a limited time its at a great price.

you can email/PM im for a free Demoo(please mention my name- I need the brownie points--lol) From what I have read and seen its very user friendly and does some incredible stuff.

Announcement: New laser show software available: Procedural dynamic frames, Much More

I highly recommend joining that forum--- BTW but like bb guns on a high dollar gun forum--its better to leave the topic of non-show lasers out of all convos.
Members of P/L are just as freindly and helpful as those we rely on so much here and some are , like me ., members of both.

last footnote- attending a LEM(PL is the host) will be a big step FWD to advancing your passion for lasers. I drove 17hrs solo last year to attend SELEM in N.C. and wild horses would not keep me away from SELEM V-aug 19-21. Even if you can onbly get there for one day you will not be disappointed. trust me on that.

Yes some fore warning that this was about to come out would have been a good idea on the Dr.'s part as I too just bought Quick Show and would have tried this one first had I known it was about to emerge

Wow, Nice addition to his product line. I wouldn't mind picking one up. What's the cheapest compatible DAC for that thing that can still produce 30kpps?
