If anyone gets these, be careful when extracting the diode from the heatsink. I used the 2 pliers method, and instead of the heatsink breaking, it bent and dented the can of the laser diode. Lucky for me the window cracked in the process. Fortunately I was able to get the window chunks out, and the laser diode still works. So.. Just be careful.

Coool, so cheap.

Anyone, how long can I run it at 200mA? As long as GGW?

LOL ..... sorry, really, but the page, how is posted, made me laugh .....

Where they say "It is tested good performance before shipped out ", and just under this, the graph that say "failed at 375mA" ..... it give the impression that they tested the diodes until they fail, before ship them, LOL :p :D

Maybe is better post the graph before, signed as diode characteristic, and then the advice that the diodes are tested ..... so it give a better impression ;)

so these guys are better than ggw's at 200mW ?

Nope. They aren't.

at 200mA you might get a few more mW out of the laser compared to GGWH20L, but as far as max power outputs I'm pretty sure the GGWH20L is more reliable and can go higher.

405nm SF-AW210 Blu Ray Laser Diode [SF-AW210] - $36.98 : High Tech DealZ, Simplifying the LASER Hobby!
Don't forget the 10% off code, I think it's HTDTENPERCENT , if you want to use the code then you have to sign up on the HighTechDealz website.

Thanks bud :)

and the code will work with Paypal express or Google Checkout, which eliminates the need to sign up on my site.

The SF-AW210 blu ray diode I sell will have PCB Ribbon removed and harvested from the heat sink, packaged in aluminum foil, anti static material, and in a small little plastic box.

Free Glow In The Dark tail/dust cap too

thanks,
Kendall
