Well...monetary institutions typically round their prices, so

$3.1415.......

becomes

$3.14

if nichia wants to sell a 483nm diode to me....or any diode really.....for the above price I will jump in dat!

Dang, just back from holiday and already the 473nm direct diodes are available.
That is great new for a stable exotic color laser.
