A while ago there were some 405nm pens listed on eBay as 445nm pens, but this time it may be different. I may buy one to see what it's about.

If it is the c@$10 diode then the lowest it can go is low 20mw. At least that is what I learned when I tried. Now if those are the new single mode 445s I want one bad.

No, but I have seen before. Not so good Quality for the money.

Got an email from the seller he claims it is single mode not multimode.
