These do not produce any light... these are not the same as the other "non functioning" lasers, which just had bad beam profile or low output.

Go with the second link. I've got two of them... both producing ~40mW. Not bad for the price!

serpant, yeah, just ask anybody you know who works with computers, on computers, or has computers. Those cords come free with just about everything.
