At $20 + after shipping, I can't help but think that it's pretty close to these:
100mW 532nm Green Laser Module (3V 11.9mm) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme

The only thing to be aware of, is that the modules on eBay (I've purchased those ones before) are slightly bigger than 12mm, and won't fit in the typical DIY waterproof hosts that Rayfoss and Odicforce sell.

I auctioned mine for $18.50 after shipping ;)
There are two other ones for bidding...
It is the same module as in my newwishpen and i looking forward to exchange them *hehe*
I think the only problem will be the heat dissipation..

I bet most of what you measure will be IR. I had one of these that i extracted from a pointer (my very first green). It is no way near as bright as my 50mw module. Also the front part of the housing is made of plastic which indicates it is very low power... I dont think you get more than max 20mw of green, rest is IR.

I have to contradict you!
I have bought one of these modules and it is VERY bright! :topic:

Judging from your collection "very bright" is not something I would take as evidence for it delivering 100mw of green. Put an IR filter in and measure it properly :) alternative measure how much current it draws. Of course I can not be sure that it is below 100mw of pure green, but I would be extremely surprised if it is anyway near that, judging on the housing.

The reference to "your collection" was not meant in a bad way! But if your judgement relies on a comparison in brightness to your 5mw then its not really very descriptive :)

You are correct with your doubts on my judgement...i have not much experience with green lasers.
I got my Ophir-LPM today and i just measured the output without an IR filter @ 68mW
And it draws ~380mA @ 4.2V from my powersupply.
Hopefully the IR isn't as much as i think :/
I thought it would have more powaaa :D
Anyway i think it is a great deal for (hopefully) ~50mW of green.. :p

I just checked the 100mw from o-like and it draws ~600mA so yours is probably close to 50mW if the current on a ir is proportional incremental, but an expert would have to validate that :) 50mW is indeed very bright and a lovely little laser

Best regards
