usa shipping cheap 50mW green laser module?

So I have searched and searched and cannot Find a cheap (my budget is 15$) 50mW green laser module. It needs to be 12mm and have a spring for I don't have a soldering iron and it needs to be for a pen host (no 18650's)
It needs to run on AAA's and it can't be rated 3.0-4.2V it needs to be max power at 3V does anyone know where to get something like that?
It also needs to be shipping from the USA

Man a module that barely leaking ir for $15 at 50mw. Inside the United States. That's asking a bit much. I have a 40mw with a spring but I'm sure it'd leaking more than 5mw of ir. Why is everyone so concerned with ir leaking on lasers under 100mw total? No laser should be treated as less dangerous than another so what does it matter. Yes it bad for your eyes and is dangerous because it's invisible, but so is any other high power laser. Why is purity such an issue?

We'll actually the ir leakage isn't that important to me I will buy that let's just say no more than 10-15 mW of ir

I'm guessing you're trying to replace the module in a pen that died?
Your requirements are fairly high, especially the "shipping from the USA" and "<5mw of IR leakage". Really, it wouldn't be too bad to get a module from DX or something and add your own IR filter.

I just got two modules from fastech. One is 40mw one is 60mw and they were $5. Ir or not that's an awesome deal. Free shipping too.

If you get a 5mw from fast tech it will be 30-60 mw from my personal experience. And yeah tech hood is my go to guy. He is for tons of us laser nerds ;)

So you are saying that if I buy a 5mW from fast tech it'll be 30-60mW?
How is that even possible?
Also how do I contact Gray about his laser pointers?

Buy one from fast tech just to prove it. Only 5 bucks free shipping. I just bought two one was 30 one was 60. They are the new wish kind and are crazy over spec scouts honor. Seriously buy one and tell me I'm wrong ;)
And 120 unfocused should be able to do that just fine. I have a 120mw on the way now. I had one delivered about a week ago but killed it by cranking up the pot too much lol. Oops :/ very nice module though. I ordered another immediately. You'll see when you get it. Compare to the fastest cheapy everything is much better, beefier circuitry. But hey around 50mw for 5 bucks. Some members buy them by the dozens just to mess with.

Wow could you give me the link to the one you are speaking of?
And thanks I just need to understand what power can do what but I don't have safety glasses and would a 120mW be safe without glasses because I don't stare at the beam but what would you do?

Just be careful. If you viewing the spot up close glasses would be ideal, but 120mw viewed at a decent distance 10m plus, you'll be fine. Brb with a link for Ya pal.

If you want to really burn I would get a m140 from dtr. But with driver pre-wired it will be $100 for just that, but trust me, it's worth it :D screw a match, we're talking lighting a cig from 10 feet lol. But if you're looking for just match power a 250-300mw 650 will do the trick. But those complete modules are not focus able. To focus you'll need to get more in depth in the construction. You'll need to go the diode driver route instead of just throwing a module in. But like I said it's worth the time and money. A 1w 445nm (blue) laser is just amazing. So powerful, so dangerous.

I dunno about doing all this I might just buy these since I am not really comfortable about getting modules and stuff through customs and hey I do wanna burn but I mainly just wanna use it for pointing it at people at school so I am just gonna get these but maybe I'll get better ones in a few years this is it 3X NEW Green Purple RED Colour Laser Pointer Light PEN 1mW Beam High Power | eBay
