hello! No i have been thinking.. what laser i will buy.. And my final choose is:

-X85 Compact Portable Laser w/carrying case, NOVA Membership, 895 LightYear Reward Points
-NOVA Shields Sport

BUT i live in FINLAND, so can the laser get seized by customs or something? And i get my laser for sure?
And can i pay with normal BANK CARD? not visa? And hope TNT doesnt take any extra euros...

I think nova has a garantee that if your laser gets taken by customs, they will refund your money?? not sure if that was nova though, but maybe give them a call or email, and ask them if they have any problems shipping to finland! you WILL definately be happy with the X85, it most likely will output more than 95mw, and is much better quality!

you can use nimh rechargable batteries quite happily in green lasers (or most alkaline taking lasers), what do you mean about how long the beam, exactly?

i mean.. that how many kilometres or miles the laser will shown? understand now?
And how Novalasers can ship the laser to FINLAND, if the lasers more than 5mW are illegal in here?

ah, i see what you mean - many manufacturers say that their laser goes "x miles" or whatever, but it's actually a rather meaningless measurement. theoretically speaking, light will travel forever, at least until something absorbs it. however, the further away from the laser itself the beam travels, the wider it gets, and dimmer it gets (because all the energy is being spread out). this is where divergence comes in - 1mrad (millirad) essentially means the beam is 1mm wider for every meter it travels - as the X-85 is 1.2mrad, that's 1.2mm wider per meter. so, it starts out as a 1mm beam, at 1 meter it's a 2.2mm beam, at 10 meters it's 13mm wide, at 100 meters it's 121mm (or 12.1cm) wide, and at 1km, the beam is 1.2 meters wide.

as for customs, i'm not sure the laws in your country. but here in the UK, technically these higher powered lasers aren't allowed, but i've had 10 lasers that breach customs rules delivered here with no problems at all. customs can't check every single package they come across, so most things get through, and even on the slim chance that they sieze a package, all that happens is that nova send you out a new one (and customs usually sends nova back the old one, i think), i'm pretty sure you won't get in any trouble for it so the worst that can happen is your package gets delayed, and even the chance of that is small.
