Spartan or Aurora 150mW?

Hello,
i want to buy a laserpointer but i can´t decide between the Aurora GW 150mW and the Spartan GW 150 mW. I like the Spartan laser a bit more but my questions are, is the Spartan laser as good in burning as the Aurora GW, is the beam of the Spartan laser brighter than the one from the Aurora laser and is the beam fully visible like in this picture and is it good visible in daylight too?

You could buy an o-like 150mW module for $97 and put it in one of the many hosts available here on the forum $35-$50 and save yourself between $250 and $350. Susie backs up all of her modules so I promise you will not get an under-spec laser, or one with terrible divergence.

As for comparing those 2... they have the same divergence 1.2mrad and they are the same power.. so.... the beams will be identical. They will burn exactly the same as one an other. One is $100 because it has much better heatsinking. Although a custom host will heatsink a green module 10x better than a leadlight (pen style)

Just a word of warning GREEN IS NOT GOOD FOR BURNING, well it can burn but it's MUCH cheaper to get a blu ray laser to burn. As I have found out. Blu ray burns much better even at the same mw rating, and it's cheaper. Darkarmyofone can build you one, 350-400mw Blu ray for 400 dollars! cheaper than dragonlasers and will burn more than 3 times better.

If you really want green get in a CNI group buy. You can get around a 250mw Green laser for 400 dollars. Basically this model for 400. If you DIDN't want in on the group buy personally I'd rather have the larger host Aries laser from laserglow for around the same price as the smaller spartan from Dragonlasers.

Thanks for your answeres i´ll try to make it the way you told me. In the internet i found some other modules do they work the same way? Are there any other sites with lasermodules? I´ve seen a lot of diodes and wanted to ask how i can build a laser with only a diode.

Is the beam of the module for 97$ bright? Has someone bought it already?
I´ve seen a video on you tube and the beam didn´t look very bright maybe it was the camera but the burning power was great

I have bought a 50mW green module from o-like.. I am happy with it, and the beam is quite bright.. so I'm guessing the 100-150mW would have great visibility... check my review on the 50mW laser in my signiture! there is a beam shot on there.. so you can check that out!

i´m messed up now. In the Spartan(my favourite) review of FrancoRob he wrote this:

Does that mean that the viper 95mW has a brighter beam and is better in burning than the 150mW one? Module or spartan, that is the question :S

edit: Lol obviously in the daytime it wont look as bright as at night

I want a laser with a nice beam and good burning ability. I´ve found the Spartan and the Aurora. In the review they said that the Viper 95mW is better in burning than the 150mW Spartan is that true?
I know that in daytime the beam won´t be as bright as during the night.

That video was also shot in direct sunlight from a window. That will dim any color laser beam. 3 seconds of research and I found this:

Spartan : <2mm beam diameter
Viper : 1.2mm beam diameter

The spartans beam may be slightly more visible but the viper will have slightly better burning power. Although, like other members have mentioned.. if you want a real burner bujild a bluray.
