Let me not accidentally click the X halfway through making this thread for a second time! 
This build started off with Mrcrouse's ad for the SkyRay King LED. I saw three LDs when I looked at it Had him spin me up a heat sink and anodize it a forest green.
I searched for hours on ebay for the shortest module. Came accross this one rated at 30mW I believe. 35-60-70 mW is what I'm measuring.
Little slide clicky had to go!
Module needs a power source.
Now they came with a lens and lens nut. Problem is they didn't fit. ??? So I had to improvise. Figured out an Aixiz module is the same thread as the brass part on the module. Went over to DTR's shop and got me 3 9mm ones. Gives me plenty of room for the crystal set to slide up a little ways into it. Lens is an acrylic BACKWARDS!!! Couldn't get it to focus the other way. Don't think the lens got close enough. Only a little lens flare now. The modules mode hope like nothing I've seen before so beam specs were already crap.
Fast forward, thre3 complete

Came out clean! With 4 18650s inside and that heat sink this thing is quite heavy.
It works!
On to the beam shots!!!!!!
As with all green modules they are not perfectly straight. You can see the slight twist.
Here's a shot that's deceiving. Looks to be perfect right? Actually two beams have switched spots. You can kind of see the beams where they do it. This is about 20 meters on a tree outside.

You can clearly see that weak module in this shot.
Overall even though the beam quality sucks and they are not perfectly straight this laser is awesome. When I can afford it all this is being switched out with 520s and should be perfectly aligned. But for now this will have to do.
On a side note I set the smoke alarms off with the fog and woke the wife up Any recommendations for shutting off a detector? haha.
