Yes, I believe this is the case, mine seems to be a bit greener. I can still tell the difference between it and 532nm, but without getting it spectro'd I can only presume it to be between 520-525nm.
Remember that raising the current will red shift these diodes making them closer to the DPSS's which may not be desirable.

A link to the item number would be helpful as they may have more than one at auction at the same time. Good luck. I hope you get it for a great price. But, don't over pay just to win this one auction.

I won the laser for $16.60. Also, they said this in the seller note: "Have a great Thanks Giving and Christmas 2010!
Your Sincerely Merry from Laserlands" which I thought that was pretty funny :)

I got the same notice when I paid for mine. It is obviously a left over from long ago. $16.60. Not bad. You beat me by $0.40. I'm still trying to get tracking updates on mine.
