I was wondering if it was possible with age for a Nova x-100 to start gaining power.
I bought mine Dec 31 2007 and have used it a great deal over the years.
When I first received it the output was 135 peak 119 average.
I confirmed those numbers on my kenometer last year.
I just tested it today and it now has a peak of 167 and an average of 153 over 20 sec
I am sure it would drop a bit if I ran it longer but im not sure I want to risk long run times.
The rest of the lasers I have still test near what the always have so I don't think the meter is out.

Any one have something like this happen or know what could cause it?

I was going to say something is wrong with your meter but if your other lasers are the same the X105 could have gained some power. Green lasers usually degrade in power if anything happens to them over time. BTW welcome back!

Might be because:

A. Other batteries are pushing it harder.
B. Temperature. You may have tested it on a hot spring day when you first got it.
C. Your LPM needs to be re-calibrated.
