Default output power of a 532nm <5mW APC ?

is it close to 5mW or can it be as low as 1mW ?
other question, is there some manufacturer (for example leadlight or CNI) that makes better pointer than others? if so, where to buy it ?

btw hello

For 5mW radioshack sells a fine one, I have that one and, no matter how cold it gets, it almost NEVER "mode hops". That one is 52$ and atlasnova has a nice looking one, but I have yet to deal with them, so I wouldn't know build quality. Also, you should use the search bar, search 5mW green pointer, there's reviews from honest, unbiased points of view, and welcomE to the forum.

thank you for response.
other question do you think portable lasers have generally better shape of dot and less divergence than pointers?
