I am thinking of getting a high power laser and the one I am looking at the most is the Alpha105, but i need to know some stuff.

1. Can it ignite fireworks.
2. Can it be seen in daylight without fog or sprays.
3. Should i get safety glasses with my laser?

Please answer these questions, it would be a HUGE help.

(also X-series or Alpha series, I know both are good but which is better) :)

1) Consult the power ability chart on the Nova website
2) Maybe if you're directly behind it
3) You should ALWAYS get safety glasses with a laser over 5mW.

The X-series is more portable and fits in your pocket, the Alpha series has a 5-point bullshit I mean safety system that will treat you like a child every time you turn on your laser. Its up to you.

Does the 2 sec delay mean that when you press the button you wait 2 seconds before anything comes out? And do you have to hold down on the button or is the Alpha a clicky on/off?

On an alpha you have to hold the button (momentary switch)

It's not a click-on click-off switch.

i have an alpha 105, and the 5 point system is actually helpful, mainly because you can short the battery cap eliminating 2 of them(the useless ones, keys and interlock dongle thing) leaving the 3 second delay, not 2 as stated be4, and the apature(<-- i know i spelt it wrong) which is really helpful.

the apature lock doesnt make you feel guilty when carrying in your pocket, unlike the x series, that will get the lens dirty in no time

and the three second delay can get annoying, but there have been accidents from just turning it on accidentitly, and getting it right in your eye(with the x series you'll never be able to look ar the lens without taking the batteries out)

if some1 wants to know how to mod the alpha series cap, just pm me and i'll wright a tut

If your looking for high power, take a look at the RPL Lasers from Optotronics, they are located in the USA, so you won't have to worry about customs and all of that, Jack is a member on here too and will give you a discount.
