Its more than just a few bad apples, they keep turning up, the green laser and company sections has plenty of threads about rayfoss fails. And its not actually the bad ones that concern me, accidents happen, fine, but she isnt answering emails even after the holiday, but she will respond if you ask to order. Some one has even got her to respond asking to order, than asked her to fix the first one, and no communication again. Smells like BS IMO, we will see what happens soon enough, but if she is lieing about output power and not testing the lasers, then not responding to the emails, that is what is unacceptable IMO.....

In light of this new evidence, it does smell like they are headed downhill.

Sure does, I wish they werent going bad after the following the had, and still have. But it is not uncommon for it to happen the way it did. What gets me the most more than anything else is the fact that she is now lieing to people about the lasers power and the IR filter and apparently she told alpertuner that she changed his diode:thinking:

Trust me bro, she didnt even look at the diode, and knows nothing about them or how they work or how to wire them properly....

A new one or another one that someone else returned, either way you will get a laser that "works."

Most likely another one from the factory. Next person I hear about sending back for repair, I am going to tell them to make a little notch in the host somewhere with a knife, then when you get the laser back, see if it is the same one or not.

Hello guys,
After months I shipped it back to Faona for replacement.I did it just about 1 month ago.It was out of warranty due to long time passed and I paid 75USD for laser replacement. She said that she sent out a new unit with little different host.I think I will get this one http://laserpointerforums.com/f52/review-rayfoss-rf532-350mw-fgb-pic-heavy-55931.html
When I got this laser I will make a review.Unfortunately I haven't a LPM so it wouldn't be much detailed review.
