I can tell you already that the 1W 532nm is fake, but will probably operate at 50-100mW which is what you require.
The biggest thing you need to be concerned about with this wavelength is that the laser pointers don't always use IR filters. This means that there is dangerous levels of invisible radiation coming out the laser.

Could you send me a couple of links to lasers that you would recommend for around the same price? Cheaper is better I just want to see the beam hahaha not trying to break the bank.

I recommend LaserBTB for your pointer, you know what power your laser will generate and they are reliable company.
LaserBTB 532nmm pointers
I highly recommend you paying for a IR filter as well.

That one looks great. Know any around 100mw just to get a real nice beam? Same type? Was looking at ones that take 18650 batteries since I vape and have plenty seem like a good power source.

I do but then the price goes up too. For quality and reliability, you have to expect to pay a bit more. I could happily show you a cheap Chinese "5000mW" pointer that puts out 100mW+, but the quality is nothing like what you will get from a professional company.

Yeah that's true the cheapest 100 mw you can find would be nice anything you can think of. The one you showed me looked pretty cheap. 50 mw should definitely be good enough to see the beam though? If so I'll buy it.

50mW will be enough to see a beam. 100mW would guarantee it in dusk light conditions. What do you intend to use the laser for and what is your location? It is a good idea to add your location to your profile, so people give you more local sources.

Just for messing around with friends or vaping whatever really. And I'm in Tempe az. Had a friend with a laser and you could see the beam and it was cool. Like the one you showed me just wanted to get one myself haha

Please be careful if you get one. Anything over 5mW is considered hazardous. The laser will be comfortably in the Class 3B safety band. When you say messing around with friends. Do you mean pointing around in the sky?

They're not allowed to say if they output anything over 5mw on ebay for pointers.
