Therein again lies the question of what kind of difference would I be looking at between 100mW spyder and the CNI's

not sure about spyder but CNI 90% of times are minimum 20% overspec! shipping might take a lil longer than Spyder thou

Like Spartan, the PGL III-M-532 nm series lasers:
PGL III-M-532nm 100mW $190 NEW PRICE!
PGL III-M-532nm 150mW $235 NEW PRICE!
PGL III-M-532nm 200mW $325 NEW PRICE!

Okay so, let's say I decide to go with the CNI. What visual/burn difference between the 3 versions should I expect?

Keep in mind that that 200mW CNI will be more like 250mW maybe even more, for a while I had a PGL 300 that did 600mW! And there are TWO CNI PGL 400's that do >700mW!

He is just saying that CNI produces consistently overspec stuff, and while you should not rely on it, there's a good chance your 200mW Spartan would be doing a bit more than 200mW.

Ah. Well there's still the question of will the extra ~50mW on the 200 justify the 90 dollar jump? Or will they just look the same

The beams will look the same, but the 200mW model will burn better and faster. I personally think that the Spartan would be better, as the Spyder III is very oddly shaped, and isn't even anodized.

You made the right decision. IMHO wicked is crap.... always has been, and always will be.......
The quality of CNI will not dissapoint, plus as others have said, they are almost always over-spec. My 473nm from the group buy puts out 50mW over its rated output!

Dont buy into it man, its not what you think. Wicked sent a bunch of 'overspec' lasers to some forum vets free for review, and of course the reviews were all good, but when the average joe orders from them, its not what you would think. There are even two threads on here a while back about two different pens(executive I think) that just fell apart shortly after arival....

Yes, CNI does not include batteries or chargers, but glenn may be able to include both for a little extra, just ask him. You can also get these lasers, even the pens, quicker from resellers like dragonlasers and laserglow, more money but less wait, and laserglow is located in canada, so no waiting from china.

I care more about the cost than the wait. shit I can't even walk for another 4 weeks after my knee surgery, being impatient isn't really possible for me right now, hahaha
