Default LZBH - 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

Hi i received this lazer LZBH - 532nm 100mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer from lazerer.com i used UltraFire BRC 18650 3.7V Rechargeable 4000mAh Li-ion Batteries Battery and i used the charger that i got given from them as well. I fully charged both the batteries and they wernet able to melt a hole in a black bin bag or even in a clear wrapper and nothing. The Power certifacte that i got from them said that it was maxed at 105mW and stable at 105mW and the IR output is 10mW. Could it be that the batteries don't have the right amount of power as stated or is it the laser ? Should i buy some different type of battery to test ?

Your batteries are CRAP. They are almost certainly counterfeit - see the link in my signature about cheap batteries. You might be appalled, fair warning. Do any of the batteries in that thread look familiar? Even if that battery is actually an 18650 cell, the 4000mAh figure is a proven lie. Throw that battery away.

Your laser is a DPSS, so it pulls a fair amount of current from the battery. I can see that Crapfire cell not being able to deliver enough current to run the laser at its designed power.

Keep in mind a 100mW laser won't blast holes in trash bags, it will slowly melt holes.

I use LG batteries, 2800mAh, they are quality. Panasonic 3400mAh are the highest capacity available. Definitely buy some quality cells. Your laser will probably work better, and you won't have to worry about exploding batteries.
