Lazerer 400mW green laser

Well I got rid of my entire green laser collection not more than 6-8 months ago, and returned to the forum, shortly after cmcvcb or whatever incident (which was really funny), I looked into Lazerer and I just wanted to buy one high powered laser and be done with green lasers, and I stumbled upon this lasers: LZCN - 532nm 400mW High Power Green Laser Pointer Separate Crystal

what do you guys think? I'm highly considering buying this one, I know this is $299 about $40 more than the waterproof 400mW which some of you have been afraid to buy because it could be the same as the o-like. I was always a fan of the key lock on the tail cap and the led by the button, laser looks beautiful, hope there isnt any cons?

Should be a fairly safe order. I wouldn't expect the laser to be overspec, but I would be very surprised if it was underspec (so far lazerer has been excellent about that).

Biggest downside seems to be the beam diameter with those types of lasers. Personally I'm a big fan of the waterproof torches, although I haven't gotten any from lazerer yet.

thanks for the info, I'll be getting this sometime this week, and make a review when it arrives.

I am not sure if this will work but it does for optotronics. you can contact lazerer's customer support and ask them if they can wait till a overspec laser comes by and then send that one to you but you would half to wait longer for your laser to arrive.

Ya optotronics did it for me maybe every one doesn't cherry pic because they want there laser quicker i am not sure.

Lol... more likely that units are slightly overspec to begin with... and customers are told that they are cherry picked. That way customer is happy, company is happy... no one is hurt.

Of course on occasion companies do cherry pick, but not often

ordered the laser on friday night, it's sunday no word from Max, he hasnt replied to my messages, anyone know how long till it's shipped? I sure as hell dont want to be scammed $300...

Which one did you order now? The Cannon 400 one? You ordered it on friday so be patient till tomorrow. He probably also enjoys his weekend like we all do. Mine was shipped within 3 days, so nothing to worry about, Max will ship it as fast as he can after checking the unit.

Ok just wanted to be sure. Yes it´s already monday in HongKong but did you also notice what time it´s acutally there? It´s a quarter past 5 AM atm !

Edit:

Relax and be a bit more patient. People like Max also do need some sleep. You laser will be shipped very fast and arrive also very fast like mine did. It´s not like with DinoDirect where I ordered a tiny 200mW one 7 weeks ago and still didn´t get it.

I ordered one from Laserer last month on the 18th and received an email on the 22nd saying it was shipped and would take 14 to 20 business days to be delivered. I should get it by the 20th of this month so I'm patently waiting. I'll report back when I get it even though this one is for a 1W 445nm.

I actually recieved mine on 9/26 too lazy to make a review, but i guess i'll make one if a many of you want me too. The laser is great it's actually 418mW average 436mW is the peak, I've been happy with it over the last 2 weeks of owning it, only con was the 3mm beam divergence, but hey its a green laser... On top of that it burns through cd cases really fast! My first laser from lazerer has been a great experience, I cant wait for a month or two, when it gets a bit more chilly here in AZ i can point around and pray for some fog.

Sweet. I was shining my 30mW green through the smoke and flames of a camp fire last night, the beam is much brighter through the smoke but wont travel as far. What part of AZ are you? I'm in Queen Creek/
