hi everyone,

ok so as i mentioned i'm visually impaired. i hae a monocular (which is like a pair of binoculars but only for one eye and fits in my pocket) i read somehwere that a magnifying glass will not increase the power of a laser but what about a monocular? the place where you look through is very tiny and is very well built and the magnification lens is very focused into that long, narrow, build unlike a wide, magnifier with a big circumfrance. so wil a monocular increase the power? mine happens to be 6x and if it does increase the power of the laser i could aways get a better monocular :)

i guess what i'm trying to do here is increase the power of the beam by magnification in this case and focusing the beam more. if the monocular doesn't wor, how can i focus the beam to increase it's power?

it should be able to focus it some if you use it in reverse with the laser going through the big side the opposite of how you use it when you are looking at something with it

edit: if you look around some on the forum i believe this has been talked about a good bit, also if you do it right i think you can use it as a beam expander to make your beam bigger around like a light saber
