JetLasers PL-E Pro absolutely - 100% the way to go---high quality professional level products with many advantages and features others do not have/offer and the best customer service of any Chinese company I have encountered and prompt delivery

Unless you can't live without a low cost to make but highly overpriced to retail customers WL Krypton host--- go with JetLasers.

What do you think? Are listed performances real and reliable?...

Both companies are generally trusted by the community and don't lie. But...

Take a look at both the lasers, let's do a general comparison. In terms of power/price, we're talking a 100mW difference, for an extra $300 eh...

There's not many benefits to the Spyder Krypton over the PL-E Pro,,, it's got a 520nm diode which is a lot more durable and not as temperature sensitive as 532nm, and a lot of people say 520nm is a bit more of a true green (usually matters on opinion) but that's pretty much it. They've got some nice accessories too, if you want to dish out even more money.

Now let's talk about the advantages of the PL-E Pro. First is obvious, price. For 700$ it's still not the best deal, as I would definitely go with something 520nm as higher powers are often cheaper compared to higher powers of 532nm green, with the PL-E Pro taken as an example. It would probably cost you around $500 for a good +1W 520nm pointer, I'd recommend checking out Sanwu lasers I've ordered from them because I heard Podo sells some nice pointers. Jetlasers is usually well respected by the LPF community, with Wicked Lasers it's a bit of a different story... People with experience usually know Wicked Lasers are usually highly overpriced. The same laser you linked from Wicked Lasers can easily be built for a lot less than half the price, as long as you know how to.

Wicked Lasers do have high quality and some nice technology in them, but that's no reason for a massive price tag such as $999.99. This is usually to catch beginners, people who don't know too much about lasers yet. They see this as the first website that comes up when they search for lasers, and think to themselves that the prices are high, these must be some pretty nice lasers.

I'm actually working on a build for a 700mW 520nm pointer, still need the last thing ordered but my total is around $410, I could actually make it for $320 if I wanted to, but I decided to put a little bit of extras into it.

I'd read up on the forums what kind of lasers people have and where they get em' from, I can assure you it will be rare that people's signatures will contain an expensive Wicked Lasers pointer.

I think you should browse around more on Jet lasers to see if theres anything else you'd like that's a much better deal, and maybe take a look at laserbtb.com. When I asked the community what starter lasers they think would be good, I got pointed in that direction. I would suggest it as well, they've got some nice cheap but quality pointers over there.

Don't forget safety, as it's the most important precaution you need to pay attention to. These goggles are considered cheap for their range and ability, I recommend you get a pair especially for higher powered green, being most sensitive to the human eye;
Eagle Pair® 190-540nm Standard Laser Safety Goggles
Don't let money come before your sight, get a pair and protect yourself.

Final considerations, I've been making it seem like you should always look at the price but don't ignore the quality aspect. You should get a considerable amount of both price and quality, finding the right balance between the two is key.

Good luck! :D

Jetlasers PLE Pro, there's no contest.

I hope you're joking.

WL has been caught in lies a hundred times over, and is most definitely not to be trusted.

Lol okay okay, true. But, I've seen many individuals who have bought from them and enjoyed their products, hence the reason I made this statement.

I'm not surprised that they've lied, seems like a money hungry company. Again however, for people who don't know a thing about lasers, can dish out loads of cash to them and still be impressed with the product they received, that's why they've got big business.

PS $699 is for a 800mW+ DPSS 532nm PL-E Pro----

A JetLasers 1W 520nm PL-E Pro costs $449 and is way superior for many reasons to anything WL has even made or sold-- see: 520nm green laser pointer, 520nm 1000mW green lasers, 1w green laser diode 520nm JETLASERS

PL-E Pro is a much better product and is only 1/2 the price of a toy quality Krypton 900mW+, 520 nm, Krypton

I have one of these on the way.I love the color of 520 and I wanted a very bright pudgy beam.DPSS 532 definitely have superior beam quality but I already have some of those...and they look yellowish compared to 520.A direct diode will surely be a great choice in such a massive host.I can't wait until it gets here.I hope my samsung tab camera will do the beam justice.

Jetlasers is the way to go !!!

I should add I have been waiting for the green diodes to get really inexpensive...but I just couldn't stand it anymore. The ple is such a nice host 449 seems a very good price to me.

I don't like the lithium power source....but there are so may vaping shops here getting premium 18650's is easy....so here I go!!!

I have yet to read about a customer that wasnt happy with jetlaser.. wicked lasers used to be good a few years ago no doubt about that but when they started to lie about their outputs and people waited sometimes 6months for lasers they went all downhill now today i dont see a single reason to buy from them, might aswell buy a laser from ebay instead..

Nice choice--is definately an exceptional laser at a very reasonable/good price. I was surprised it was only $449.00. 2 X 18650 will give good runtime but consider 2 X 26650 for longest runtime between charges.
PL-E Pro allows multiple power source choices. 520nm lasers can run on two 16340/cr123a(3.4cm long) lithium batteries without the battery tube extension. The length is around 28cm.
With the extension(included by default free of charge), PL-E Pro 520nm laser can run on two 18650/26650s(6.5cm+ long, button top) lithium batteries. The overall length is 35cm. Can also run on the 8V5AWall adapter.

Exactly. I have never heard of anyone having anything but a good experience with JetLasers either. I once had a minor problem with the beam quality of a TiB 532nm and they covered the cost to ship it back to them and replaced it at no charge.
JetLasers customer service is exceptional. They actually care about having only happy customers who feel they received something of value that they enjoy for the hard earned money spent. They will do whatever it takes to achieve that goal.
JetLasers is not just about money which is very unusual especially for a Chinese company.
Jetlasers was founded by laser enthusiasts who love what they do and are, rightly so, very proud of their products and quality.

I bought a core from wicked for a friend and after 5+ years it is still excellent.I have a 40 and 100mw evo's which I bought because they run great on AA NIMH cells. Both are excellent lasers...they were expensive but I paid the premium for AA power.

Going to the 1W level lithiums make more sense.I just visited a local vape shop and they have good smart chargers as well as protected 26650's and 18650's.

10 years ago they were unobtainium locally...but not anymore!

Jetlasers have an enviable rep here and I had some pleasant exchanges with them some time ago and decided then I would buy from them in the future.

I expect the 1W 520 PLE will be epic grade.Wicked states now they don't guarantee delivery to the US.That nixes them for me!!!

I just visited wicked's site.999 dollars for 900mw of 520.FAIL, EPIC.
Way too expensive and non-guaranteed delivery to the US equals so much FAIL.
