i have a jet laser 532nm PL-C I am selling, it outputs around 320mw It is very nice and is very high quality. Do a search on this website on jet laser reviews to see some information on the jet lasers. It might be what your looking

Josh will this be your first green laser? If it is I'm going to yell at you for jumping to 400mw.

I have the o-like 400 and it's still working fine good beam mode hops but i don't care about that to much BUT i was lucky to get a good 1 as you can read here about the OL400 is not always that good so you have to be lucky.

Well it's a weird mode hop and another member here will make a video of it , and i want to make a video of it aswel.

When my o-like 400 batterie drops under 3.5 volt it mode hops into TEM01 and it's staying in that mode.

But with a full batterie the dot is constandly shanging shape , beam though is solid verry solid.

Well, my first 400mW o-like was near DOA. Second one is very slightly overspec. It does mode hop, but personally that doesn't bother me at all.

Of all my lasers, this one produced by far the nicest beam. It does have a couple of drawbacks though... very power hungry, and warms up rather quickly... I keep mine to a 90 second duty cycle.

Due to mode hops and waterproofing lens, it's not really great as a burner either...

For burning you're much better off going with a 445 or 405nm laser. 445 offers more power, 405 is absorbed much better by most materials

There is absolutely no comparing the burning power of a 445nm 1W+ and a 200-400mW a 532nm.

Double edit: Please remember that green lasers will also leak IR, at least all of the ones you're looking at.... most goggles rated for 532nm do not block IR so if you plan to burn, with a green laser you will need to either get goggles that do cover IR or install IR filters yourself.

@weeba2kv - To be perfectly honest I haven't really tried burning much with mine... have much better burners on standby. With the original one I got that died, I found it very hard to find the focus... much harder than with any of my other lasers.

@joshshermannn1 - There are almost always 445's in the B/S/T. 405's pop up every once in a while. An option would be the 400mW o-like 405nm.

My favorite burner for now is from steviediezie - pm him, he might be willing to build you one. 405's do pop up fairly often too though.

Honestly burning gets old fast... get the 400mW o-like for the beam:)
