i wna make my 50 mw green laser , that runs ona cr2 battery, more powerfull, and light matches, can i do anything to it ?

Anything you can do to it? Well, you can hit it with a hammer, although this wont make it any more powerful... I'm guessing you want to pot mod it. Sorry but you can't. Pot mods fry the diode. Trying to will break your laser.

Interesting. You come on here with three posts, ask a question, and then want to yell at a more experienced member of the forum to tell him that you know better than he.
I think that you should just do whatever you feel like WITHOUT the help of others. You don't appear to think that you need any help. If you want to break your lasers, you don't need anyone's help for that. Just do whatever you feel like doing.
After you've read about 300 pages of postings here (start with the sticky's on the top of each board), you MAY understand lasers as much as LRNMmeyer. For now, listen to those trying to help.

my 50 mw dont light matches, i held it there for like ten mins, then tryed pulsing it really quickly as it slightly dims after a few secons,
nothign works, an i tryed a magnifying glass, lol
laught at me

oh n were can i buy a high enough ir diode to make it more powerfull

The only suggestions I can give to you is to soak the laser overnight in a cup of water. I just tried that and it works!!!
Now my DX30 lights matches instantly!! Thank you simplysped2!
Note: I just saw that the laser you demonstrated with was the same as I have, that might be why it worked.

Someone at candlepowerforums had a thread about it. He turned his 100mx DX greenie to a 450mw monster. I was scared but I gave it a shot and ever since then i have had visible beams in daylight, and I can pop balloons at about 35ft.

the ice water trick does wonders i usually put my lab lasers in water over night before shows.
i can get about 800mw out of my 500mw green
