yes I am a idiot, I purchase things on impulse

I got ripped off at £53 for a what I suspect to be a really cheap crappy laser now that I have been looking around on here and googgle shopping its a laser 303 from what the picture discribes

I have seen this things sell for like 35-40 usd and I paied £54GbP

it makes me sick how I got ripped off, I see the locable key and thourt instantaneously it was a quality device and i didn't think it was coming from singapoor its only after my implus buy


anyway it could be good, I very much doubt that this laser has nothing to do with military grading


anyway after reading more on here I devices to get a pair of egal laser eye glasses what almost cost more then the laser


why did I even get a freeking laser I dont even know what i am going to do with it lool it would be nice to take on a camping trip out in to the dark country night

I just want to blow my weed smoke in to the laser beam but now relising that the pen I have was probably safter

I know the pen I have must have no ir filter as the did is so bright and when I shine them in a pair of uv glasses you can see the redish ir light on the glasses I think anyway


I just want a cool high quaility laser, I have a little baby girl on the way i am sure she would love too look at some laser sky poiniting when she gets a bit older

is lasers really that dangerous dang i was reading how people loose there vision and get grey spots,

that is some really spooky stuff for just a toy

I got a pair of the egal glasses recommended on here

I dont think I will get any more lasers its just a dangerous toy to mess around with they can serve not real purpose unless in a rave/festival

i love my eyes and I want them and if I cant see the laser with the goggles with kinda kills the fun

why dose it have to have so much dangers, vision is so impotent more so then a arm or fingers

I got a simiilar laser from a similar vendor for ~ $26. It is not military anything and mine meters at 68mW, decent for the price I suppose. I knew ~ what I was getting when I bought it. YMMV

I don't get what you mean by "you didn't think it was coming from Singapore". You do know that Singapore-made products are one of the highest quality products made in the world right? Or are you just stereo-typing because it is an Asian country?

It is not a China or Malaysia or Indonesia. Learn economics... Singapore is one of the richest and most advanced country in the world, leading in military-technology, airline industry, shipping industry, medicine industry. It even has stealth warships and stealth UAVs Canada doesn't. It's military uses high-powered lasers in its tanks and helicopters to take down RPGs and missiles.

We're talking about one hell of a country here. To say that it products coming from that country must be of poor quality is being stereotypical at its finest.

Needless to say, I'm NOT saying ALL products made in Singapore are made of gold; I don't even know if that laser is even from Singapore, but just don't stereotype unless you've done your homework.

just if my laser pen was a more powerfull one I would of been blinded loads of times by now

from reflections just from my white wall and shiny surfaces how many times I mistakenly got hit and my eyes dont feel good for it

just have to play carefully and I should be ok

I don't know what (if any) is the common agreement on here about illegal substances... but yeah, I can easily burn weed with both a 560mw 405nm and with a 1.something watt 445.

cool sounds sweet, mabey something new could be invented for the tobacco smoker, I see portable halogen style type tobacco pipes

anyway rant over if u can even call it a rant

I am trying to prototype a 405nm pipe, but it wont work as a flashlight, laser would be inside the pipe. Though I have some old cd burners that would work in the IR range, I feel in case something does go wrong I would like to know if I am hitting myself in the face with a laser. Near UV packs a punch for its power as far as burning goes, and the pipe could be made with vaseline glass or something for bling effect. OH make sure no matter what goggle you use never look into the beam of a class 3 or above laser, my best diode in 445nm puts out 1.74w at 1.6a with cheap 3 element lens, it can pop a balloon aiming though my goggles I got from O-like and the Eagle Pair would get much better results but its still not safe.

I maybe wrong on this but isnt smoke produced by a laser slightly radioactive?
