How i open this laser?

Hello all , i'm new here
I have a problem with my laser , he don't want anymore to work ....
And i want to open it ... but i can't .
The laser is Laser Green <50mW , 532nm +-10

I guess it's a stupid question, but are you ABSOLUTELY sure it's not the batteries?

How to open one? Well that depends.
These caps are usually pressed onto the pen, maybe even with glue.
Sometimes they are screwed on (at least my two DX pens SEEM to be).
You have to grab the cap with a vice or pliers (put somehing between if you
don't want the penn to get all sratched up), and then wiggle the pen back an forth.
Someone here made a tool out of a block of wood cut in half and hole in it, just
the diameter of the cap.

Try this also: after replacing the batteries for some fresh ones, "shine" your pen
into a digital camera (phone, webcam, etc...).
If you see (on the camera's screen, not directly) some whitish purple light,
then be very careful: The IR pump is sendig out invisible but dangerous infrared
laser light.

In any case, if some fresh batteries don't solve your problem, you are probably
not gonna be able to fix this.
Just spend the 10-15$ on a new one.

99% its threaded. i also have one. turn anticlockwise, and it will open.
